Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Capozza Insures collects through capozzainsures.com, why it is collected, and how it is used. Capozza Insures is an insurance agency operated by Paul Capozza, a licensed Florida life insurance agent.
Information collected when you request a quote
The quote request form is part of this website. When you complete and submit it, the information you entered is sent to our own server and is not passed through a third-party form provider. Depending on your answers, it includes:
- Your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number
- Your preferred method of follow-up contact, and your preferred time to be called
- The type of coverage you are interested in and the coverage amount you selected
- Basic rating information: your age, gender, ZIP code, and whether you have used tobacco or nicotine in the last 12 months
- A general description of your health, and anything you choose to write in the free-text notes box
Only the first four steps of the form are required. The notes box, the phone number (unless you ask to be called) and the best-time-to-call field are optional. If you would rather not provide something, you can leave it out or contact Paul directly instead.
The form deliberately asks for your contact details last, so you can see what is being asked before you decide whether to identify yourself.
How your information is used
Information submitted through the quote request form is used to:
- Respond to your insurance quote request
- Review coverage options that may fit what you described
- Follow up with you using the contact method you selected
- Communicate with insurance companies as needed if you decide to move forward with an application
Your personal information is not sold to third parties for unrelated marketing purposes, and quote requests are not distributed to lists of competing agents.
Advertising and website tracking
This site may be reached through advertising on search engines and social media platforms. When it is, the link may include tracking parameters in the web address, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, gclid, fbclid, or similar identifiers.
These parameters are passed along to the quote request form so that we can tell which advertisement or campaign a request came from. They are used for advertising measurement and attribution — understanding which ads work — not to build a personal profile about you.
This site may also use website analytics and advertising measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, or a Meta (Facebook) pixel. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and may collect standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring website.
Where your quote request is stored
When you submit the form, your request is:
- written to a file on this website’s server, in a location that cannot be opened from a web browser;
- recorded as a row in a private Google Sheet that only Paul can open; and
- emailed to Paul so he sees it promptly.
The copy on the server exists so that a request is never lost if an email or the Google connection fails. Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet insurance record-keeping obligations, and are deleted on request where no retention obligation applies.
Third-party services
Some parts of this experience are provided by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply to the data they process:
- Google stores quote requests in Google Sheets and delivers the notification email through Gmail. Google may also process advertising and analytics data if Google Analytics, Google Ads or Google Tag Manager are active on this site.
- Our web host operates the server this site runs on and therefore stores the backup copy of quote requests.
- Meta may process advertising data if social advertising is active.
- Insurance companies receive your information only if you choose to move forward with an application, and their own privacy practices then apply.
Cookies
This site uses your browser’s session storage for two things: to remember advertising parameters during your visit so attribution is not lost if you move between pages, and to keep a half-finished quote form if you refresh the page by accident. Both are stored only in your own browser, are never sent anywhere on their own, and disappear when you close the tab. Analytics and advertising tools, where enabled, may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from using the quote request form.
How your information is protected
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into the quote form is encrypted in transit. Reasonable steps are taken to limit access to submitted information to Paul Capozza and to any insurance company involved in a request you choose to pursue. No method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
- You can decline to submit the form at any time.
- You choose your preferred contact method on the form.
- You can ask to stop being contacted at any time, and that request will be honored.
- You can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of the information you submitted, subject to any records that must be retained under insurance regulations.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
